Daughter of Daniel P. Gardner and Hulda Maria COOMBS, his wife.
Granddaughter of Renselaer COOMBS and Hannah Sargent Chaffee, his wife.
Gr-granddaughter of Abiel Chaffee and Hannah Sargent, his wife.
[p.133] Abiel Chaffee (1761-1847), served several enlistments under different commands. He applied for a pension, 1840, and it was allowed for service as private, Connecticut line. He was born and died in Woodstock.
