Note: All expenses of our non-profit Combs-Coombs &c. Research Group, Inc., are paid by individual, voluntary contributions by members of our Group. There are no membership dues or fees.

21 Sep 1999 Notice: Unfortunately, your Coordinator has been out spending more money, partly because the rest of the Group has been out creating more bytes, so the following Financial Activity Statement is higher than original budgeted.

The new annual total for the Fiscal Year 1999 is $300.00 US (est. $1.20 per member). Of the additional $132, all but $35 is in one-time set-up fees (plus correction to one-time non-profit incorporation filing), thus the total for the year 2000 will far less; i.e., an estimated $143 (57¢ per member) and for the year 2001 an estimated $178 (71¢ per member).

This year's $300 (average $1.20 per member) compares to the $2,000.00 + paid in Fiscal Year 1998 to our former web hosting service (average $8.00 per member), an annual savings of at least $6.80 per member.

**We are actually using only abt 120 mg at present, but it is probably safe to estimate that we will have arrived at 150 mg by 31 Dec 1999, and near 200 mg by 30 Jun 2000. The reason for ordering 100 mg additional space (rather than, say 25 mg or 50 mg) is that the charge for 25 mg web space is roughly 2/3 of the charge for 100 mg space, thus the purchase of the larger amount of web space is "cheaper in the long run." At some point, annual increases in web space will level out, but thus far that hasn't happened. J
