Desperately [sic] seeking transcriptions or notes of these early interviewees.
The author states that "brother Nicholas" moved away; however, it is now documented that "brother Nicholas" and "Danger Nicholas" were one and the same, and that he not only did not move away, he did not die in the 1830s but in the 1850s instead.

Jeremiah L. "Long Jerry" COMBS is not a documented son of RW John COMBS of the eight. See both his report and that of John COMBS III.
Although there is apparently an oral family tradition (seeking sources!) that Jeremiah L. married (1) a Nancy; Jeremiah C. "Chunky" COMBS (s/o Danger Nicholas COMBS, Sr., married a Synthia per the Dickey Diary interview of his son, John S. COMBS.
Jeremiah C. "Chunky" COMBS was a nephew of the brothers, not a cousin. Seeking transcription or notes for statements by his son, Harrison H. COMBS.
