Page 119. 3. John COMBS m. Penninah Jane (BELLER? not documented). John was probably the same who was on the 1840 Grayson Co, VA census on same page as Zadock, but had removed to Fayette Co, VA (that part which became Raleigh in 1850) by 1841 when son, Mandeville (Frederick Harmon Combs names him Mandover), was born according to Mandeville's 1871 Giles Co, VA marriage record. In 1880, John and Penninah and Mandeville and families were in Pulaski Co, VA.
