Campbell was established in 1795 from
Harrison,
Scott and Mason. In 1797, Bracken was established from Campbell and Mason; and in 1799, Pendleton
was established from Campbell and Bracken, and Boone from Campbell. In 1840, Kenton was established from Campbell. No pre-1900 KY Land grants have been found in Campbell County, which was just across the river from Cincinnati, Hamilton Co, OH.
