2. William JOHNSON was born between 1774 and 1778. He resided in Georgia in 1806. He resided in Warren Co, Tennessee between 1810 and 1830. He appears to have resided in Madison Co, Arkansas by 1850. He has not been located on the 1840 Census. He was a miller  by occupation in both Warren Co, Tennessee and Madison Co, Arkansas. He married Tisha Combs before 1806. Tisha Combs was born about 1780 in South Carolina, her ancestry unknown. They probably died between 1850 and 1859 in Madison Co, Arkansas. William JOHNSON and Tisha Combs had the following known children:

child+6 i. James Martin JOHNSON P11 -- born 25 Dec 1806 in Georgia, died 11 Nov 1868 in Madison Co, Arkansas; married (1) Elizabeth DUNIGAN (Jernigan?); married (2) Miriam WORTHINGTON.
child+7 ii. Ellen Catherine JOHNSON P12 -- born May 1812, Warren Co, Tennessee, died after 1880, probably in Madison Co, Arkansas; married before 1835, possibly in Warren Co, Tennessee,  Washington GAGE, son of John William and Rhoda BOYDSTON Gage. (1880 US Census: Madison Co, AR, Richland Twp, HH No. 244 of Albert B. LEWIS included: Ella GAGE F 68 w mo-in-law TN TN TN)
child+8 iii. Martha E. JOHNSON P13 -- born Warren Co, Tennessee, 16 May 1812; died Madison Co, Arkansas, March 1848; married Joshua BOREN, son of James BOREN.
