Kingsbury Parish, hundred of Gore, lies abt 9 mi. northwest of the centre of the City of London, with Little and Great Stanmore to the northwest; Hendon to the northeast; Twyford and Willesden to the southeast; and Wembley and Harrow on the Hill to the southwest; The living is a perpetual curacy, in the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the Dean and Chapter of St. Paul's, London.

01 Feb - 05 Oct 1641 Winifred GREENE of London [of Kingsbury, Mddx.], widow, dated 1 Feb 1641. Bequests to: the children of my sister Joane COOMES by her husband Thomas COOMES and by her late husband Morris PRICE deceased; Mary FINCH, daughter of my said brother John; my sister Ann FEGON, widow; my sister Grace FINCH, wife of the said Francis FINCH; the rector of St. Michael Bassishaw, London; my son John GREEN (who went to Va.), if he be alive. Wits.: Richard ROCHDALE, scrivener, and Henry FIREBRACE his servant. Pr. 5 Oct 1641 by the brother, John FINCH. (PROB 11/187/121 & 128). See NGSQ 69/117.
