Mary STANFIELD (d/o William and Deborah BRUCE Stanfield, Quakers of Guilford Co, NC), a member of the White Lick Friends (Quaker) MM, was b 25 Apr 1764; d 24 Jan 1838, Morgan Co, IN; m 4 Mar 1790, Deep River Meeting House, Guilford Co, NC, Eli HARVEY (s/o William and Elizabeth CARTER Harvey of Orange Co, NC), b 13 Jan 1762, Chester Co, PA; d 14 Apr 1822, Clinton Co, OH. On 11 Oct 1831, the Springfield MM of Clinton Co, OH granted Mary a certifcate to the White Lick MM of Morgan Co, IN. On this same date, her daughter, Cynthia, apparently unmarried, was also granted a certificate. Mary was received on 15 Feb 1832 in Morgan Co, IN on certifcate from theSpringfield MM. (Jerry Richmond's Eli & Mary STANFIELD Harvey and Hinshaw's Quaker Genealogy, North Carolina). Mary STANFIELD Harvey's brother, George STANFIELD d testate 1827, Grayson Co, VA, naming his sister, Mary, and William and Jane CARTER Combs and their son, Zedekiah, and others. Isaac Grant was b in Prince William Co, VA; m Elizabeth EAST (DAR Lineage, Vol. 58, of Florence Bellet ARMSTRONG Castello of Tipton Co, IN, d/o Alexander C. & Sarah WINFIELD Armstrong, gd/o Thomas A. and Sarah GRANT Armstrong, and ggd/o Rev War Soldier Isaac GRANT, b Prince William Co, VA; d Clinton Co, OH.
