Notes: Sarah was the widow of Cullen Combs, Sr., s/o William & Anna THOMPSON Combs, Jr. Their daughter, Mary E. Combs, was b 24 Feb 1860, New Gardens, Russell Co, VA (Vital Statistics), where the family also appears in the 1860 census. Between Russell and Roane, however, they are also found of record in Morgan Co, KY (where son, Fielding W., was born).
