Lancaster County was established from Chester County and non-county areas in 1729.
1749: York County established from Lancaster County;
1750: Cumberland County was established from Lancaster County;
1752: Berks County established from Cumberland, Lancaster and non-county areas;
1772: Northumberland County established from Bedford, Cumberland, Lancaster, Berks, Northampton and non-county areas;
1758: Dauphin County established from Lancaster;
1813: Lebanon County established from Dauphin and Lancaster County.
Reynard COMER aka HAMMER was on a list of German Settlers in Springettsbury Manor Region in 1736 of an area of Lancaster County which became York in 1749.
