Jan 1821 "Isaac S. W. COOK and James W. Combs were admitted to practice law in Hardin Co., TN at the January term 1821."
(Extracted by Combs Researcher Susan Combs Hefner from "Tennessee Cousins: A History of Tennessee People" by Worth S. Ray, 1950, p. 709)
Notes: Although admitted to practice in this county, it is unlikely that James W. Combs ever resided in Hardin. He was likely the James W. Combs of Giles Co, TN.
