Goals

  • Determine the “genetic profile” of this branch of COMBS and establish the "lineage genetic profile" of Andrew COMBS by comparison with another branch of this family. Done
  • Prove that Andrew was a son of Joseph I of Loudoun.
  • Given the number of men with the same given names, clear up with more convincing evidence that Mahlon b. 1780 was a son of Joseph b. 1745 who was indeed a son of Andrew b. 1723.
  • Note: Resources outside of Fayette, PA could still be searched. Gen #7 Andrew owned land in Frederick MD, but may not have resided there. Associated families include members of the Tonoloway Baptist Church: Stillwell, Linn, James, Davis, Ross, Bowen; Gaddis; Jeffries; Carter.
